Local Outreach

Local Outreach / Ministry

Not only does our church have a focus on spreading the Gospel worldwide, we also have our eyes fixed on opportunities in our own backyard. We invite you to learn more about what we're doing and how you can partner with us.

Mom2Mom

Mom2Mom is a community group for moms of all ages and stages. Our "Learn a New Thing in Spring" semester is a time to grow new friendships while we learn new skills (landscape planning, seed starting, freezer meals, glass etching, and more). This is a relaxed place of refreshing and encouragement! The registration fee of $65 includes childcare, "Learn a New Thing" program, and a light breakfast. Scholarships are available. Invite a friend from the community and join us! Registration opens January 9. Questions? mom2mom@pccyorktown.com

Spring Program starts Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Click for more info / registration.

Serve The City Peninsula

Serve The City wants to be a catalyst in the transformation of neighborhoods, cities and lives as people volunteer to serve others. They do this by connecting the city's resources and needs, facilitating local volunteer involvement and promoting inclusion. On the Peninsula of Virginia, they want to see redeveloping communities transformed through partnerships between the police department, faith-based organizations, civic leagues and schools by building trusting relationships that bring hope and health.

Peninsula Rescue Mission

Many groups work diligently to provide material help for the needy. There are also many whose work is to introduce people to God through faith In Christ. The Peninsula Rescue Mission is a ministry seeking to do both. We operate completely independent from the government in order that we might maintain our Christian distinctives.
