Full Bio:
Garrett came to know the Lord as a teenager through the youth ministry of a local church and Young Life. After high school he moved from Long Island, New York to Virginia to study at the College of William & Mary where he earned a BA in History & Religious Studies. There, he was blessed through his involvement with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He went on to get his MA in Secondary Education so that he could sharpen his gifts for ministry through teaching. After four years of working as a public school social studies teacher and volunteering as a lay leader in the church, he left the classroom to join the staff as an Associate Pastor in 2011. He completed his MDiv with Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2017 and began serving as the Lead Pastor in May of 2020. He enjoys reading, over-analyzing movies, running when he gets the chance, and going on adventures with his wife and best friend, Kristen, and their children, Natalie and Graham.
